Inspired by the history of the Irish in America, Steven Grasse and Irishman Flor Prendergast set out to create something unique: a fine Irish whiskey finished in American rye casks. This idea spurred a transatlantic collaboration, with whiskey distilled by West Cork distillers and barrels for the rye finish sourced by Tamworth Distilling. The result is an incredibly complex whiskey, a smooth and mellow spirit that packs a punch but never burns.
