Drink Philly Features the Reopening of Art in the Age

Art in the Age Has Reopened in Old City with a Bottle Shop and Tasting Room

Art in the Age, which has been on North 3rd St. in Old City for more than a decade, has reopened after a massive renovation as the neighborhood’s premier bottle shop.

Thanks to some changes to Pennsylvania’s liquor laws, Art in the Age can now sell local spirits, and has refashioned itself as an official outpost for New Liberty Distillery. Alongside the distillery’s signature liquors, they’ll carry local beers, ciders, and products from Tamworth Distilling in New Hampshire.

The new space will allow customers to immediately purchase spirits they’ve just tasted, as well as vintage barware and glassware, local crafts, and everything from artisanal hot sauces to local pickles.

They’ll also still offer a few clothing options — namely, Art in the Age branded tee shirts — alongside gifts and Philly-specific items like booze-scened soaps, local mixers and bitters, and more.

Most importantly, the space will be a tasting room above all else, offering guided tours of the spirits on hand. Guests will be able to enjoy tasting flights, private events & workshops, feature happy hours, pop up shops, and, of course, local beer and spirits.

Art in the Age is located at 116 N 3rd Street and is open from 11 AM – 7 PM Monday-Saturday and from 11 AM – 6 PM on Sundays.
