Hori Smoku Sailor Jerry Screening

Last night was the screening of Hori Smoku Sailor Jerry.. This is a documentary about famous tattoo artist Sailor Jerry ,more then just a character in this documentary he’s is more of the catalyst to bring insight into the history of tattooing and a golden era of tattooing.  The film was really well made and the peppered footage of 8mm and vintage photos really gave the film a dope feel to it.  This gave some really great insight into the subculture and history of tattooing.  This is going to be released in the fall I suggest you check it out.  I got to speak to Director Erich Weiss, he was such a cool funny guy.  More flicks of the event on the flip.
