Another company that's using a similar ad style but with even more offbeat copy is Robert Stock Ltd.. The three new brightly colored ads for Robert Stock Sandwashed Silk were created by the Philadelphia-based Quaker City Mercantile. Some of the twisted copy reads: "A computer salesman was rendered sterile when lightning struck the metal zipper on his trousers while playing golf in Kyoto, Japan." Another says, "In Hoboken, two brothers, Walter Plotnik and Neville Plotnik, both died one year apart after being struck by the same taxi driven by the same driver and carrying ..."
