Quaker City Mercantile has worked with the Steve Stein for years. Back in the day, when we were just getting started, he did all our radio spots for MTV. It wasn't until years later that we realized he was the Legendary Steinski of Double D and Steinski fame. The man who more or less invented Big Beat and sampling in general. The guy is really famous!

Stein's name appears in the credits for DJ Shadow's groundbreaking first album, and Fatboy Slim cites him in interviews as the Godfather of Big Beat. He's even in the documentary Scratch.
