Is This Kid About to Be a Star?
Kevin Michael is getting tons of press these days...but we'll always remember him fondly as the guy we brought in for our Phillycars.com campaign. Here's the scoop on this local guy from Philadelphia Magazine:
The guys who made Gnarls Barkley into the hottest musical act of 2006 think they can work the same marketing magic on an unknown 22-year-old from Chester. A slowly dying record industry sure hopes they're right

The Web site (phillycars.com) is intended to offer a Philadelphia-focused alternative to auto-shopping sites like Cars.com and Vehix.com. The campaign promotes the Web site as "brought to you by" its older siblings: The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Philadelphia Daily News and Philly.com.
PhillyCars.com Ignites City With New Anthem
Congratulations, Inquirer and Daily News employees! You may have made a bunch of concessions in your recent contract, but look at what the money is going to: Philadelphia raps that check both the 610 and the 215. Oh, and a new car sales website.
In case you're wondering: this was shown during the Rose Bowl.
